Ice cream anyone?

That's right! The tee's are FINALLY up on the website! <3

Sorry to anyone I mentioned them to half a year ago. It's taken so much longer to get it all ready than I expected but I'm glad we chose the tough route (making the screens & printing the tee's ourself, rather than sending the design off to be printed by a company) cause it makes it so much more satisfying to finally have them done!

We've only got 15 tee's and 5 vests...they're up on the website now so go check them out!

We need your help! :)...

Some of you may already know, but we're super close to releasing our first t-shirts! All we've got left to do is buy the plain tee's. :D
We were thinking of buying one size to begin with and if there's lots of demand for another size, that we'd do that next time.

But we thought we'd ask which sizes you guys like so we can get an idea of what you'd want before we order :)

How do you like a shirt to fit? (loose/tight)

If you like the design of a tee, but the t-shirt is a size or two too big, would you still buy it?

Leave us comments/messages with your answers or any other input/ideas :)

This is the design but we'll be printing it on t-shirts as well as vests :)

Long overdue update!

We finished the screens a few weeks ago.

Test printed them in the inks my dad had.

Then on Monday we went to Broadstairs to pick up the new inks! :D

(yeuchhhh picture)
And today we tested the new inks! I'm so excited about the colours we've decided on. I'll be trying them out with the design tomorrow, so i'll post a picture then, they're yummy bubblegum colours. They looked good enough to eat when we were mixing them ^-^

We also ordered some flyers!

They're really simple, but i've designed them so I can use them for packaging too!

Cosplay!

My lovely friend Elliot told me and Jack about a Cosplay event he's going to at the end of May, (LINK)
It's on Saturday and Sunday and £10 to get in each day, there's a Ball on the Saturday evening and that's an extra £15 to get into that.
Elliot's going for the whole weekend and staying in a hotel, but I think we'll just go on the Saturday during the day. I don't know what to go as! Here's some of the things i've been considering...

x.She-Ra Princess of Power. I've wanted to be She-Ra forever. I had a She-Ra PJ top it was an amazing blue and had ruffles on the shoulders. I'd wear it now if I could fit into it and knew where it was haha.

x. One of the Powerpuff Girls Z, but which one? Bubbles is my favourite but that would mean bleaching my hair, and I really don't want to kill my hair again, just for one day. Buttercup would be the obvious choice considering my current hair colour/cut, and Blossom would be amazing, just look at that hair bow! But my hair isn't long enough. :(

x. Enid Coleslaw. I pretty much have everything I'd need to do this in my wardrobe already, but idk if it's cosplay-ey enough? I'd need a Rebecca too, and I don't gots one of those. Jack in a wig? ^-^

x. Amy Rose! <3

x. Tank Girl! If I find an army hat or wear my russian flappy hat I wouldn't have to shave my head and I'd only have to dye the front bits (Y)

x. Jill Valentine from Resident Evil. Jack would like this. I think i'd rather go with something cuter.

x. Daria. Again I have everything i'd need for this already ^-^, not sure if this would be frowned upon by hardcore cosplayers cause it's not Japanese?

x. Misa Misa from Deathnote? I'd need to bleach my hair for this too. Blonde hair really doesn't suit me. :(

x Misty! I'm not ginger at the moment, and I don't think Jack would want to dress up as Ash. That would be amazing though ^-^

I can't think of any more at the moment!

I need to decide soon, cause I've got to get started on the costume!

Would you cosplay? If so, what would you go as?

Top 5...

TV shows...
There's a lot of these on Facebook, and I love top 5 lists (High Fidelity anyone?), but I still don't like Facebook, so I thought i'd bring it into blogging! :)

In no particular order....

1. Daria.

I remember watching Daria through a badly tuned telly when it used to be on Channel 5. We never got Channel 5, but every now and then you could just about pick it up. I was soo happy when they started playing it on MTV 2 years later. I can't find it to buy or watch on the internet anywhere. :(

2. Scrubs.

Scrubs reminds me of when me and Jack first started going out. I'd miss him like mad when he went home but we'd both watch Scrubs at 1am in bed before we went to sleep and text eachother quotes, and stupid stuff from the adverts so it felt like we were watching it together. Geeky, huh? ^-^

3. Psych.

EEee! I love Psych! There's been three series so far, you can find links to watch them here Surf the channel. Think, JD and Turk pretending to be psychic, working for the police as detectives. ^-^

4. Powerpuff Girls.

I wish I was a Powerpuff Girl! I'd want to be Bubbles ♥ Which one would you want to be? As well as the original Cartoon Network Powerpuff Girls, I really love the Japanese version, Powerpuff Girls Z!

If you like the original, I recommend it :)

5. Diagnosis Murder.

DICK VAN DYKE I LOVE YOU! I'm not a massive fan of Mary Poppins and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, I've never really been into musicals. But I'm a little bit hooked on Diagnosis Murder. ^-^ I first saw it dubbed in Italian when I was staying with my Nonna (that's Italian for Grandma ^-^) the charm of Dick Van Dyke has no language barriers! Ahaha.

What would your Top 5 be?

T-shirts a go-go!

We've finally started working on t-shirts! The design is quite simple, so I'm making the screens up by hand.

Once that's done, we'll be testing it out and if it works okay, we'll be ordering some plain t-shirts to print on, and they'll be up for sale on the website! :D In other news *shuffles imaginary newsreader papers* we've changed the bubble pins a little to make them more plump!

And! As you may have noticed, we've got a brand new section for hair accessories! We've put up some cute black bows (we don't like real leather too much so we opted for the fake version.) Which are available as a barrette or a pin!

And! The fun doesn't stop there...we've also put up these cuties!

Which are also available as either a barrette or a pin :)

So check it out! xx

January 1, 2009

Hi 2009!

Hi cuties!
I haven't blogged in soooo long.
We've been busy busy bee's what with Christmas sneaking up like that!
Where did autumn go??

I hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas and new year!!
I got so many lovely presents! Lots of snuggly jumpers, some awesome fashion and art books, a stylophone which we've had lots of Rolf Harris style fun with, another Audrey Hepburn film to add to my collection and quite a few pairs of socks which I think is a sign I'm almost a grown up. You know you're old when you get socks for Christmas!

Jack bought me one of my all time favourite films My Neighbour Totoro :D<3
& I bought Jack this amazing Sonic t-shirt. I wanted to keep it for myself!

The colours are so much brighter in real life and the print goes round to the back of the tee.
Sonic blue is such a beautiful colour, i've been considering dying my hair blue! What do you think?^-^

Talking of computer game cuties, we have a couple of new computer game inspired items on our website!

We lovelovelove our old megadrive and snes, and designed these pixeltastic pieces to pay tribute!

So make sure you check them out!

Right! I'm off to feed my kitties!
Baii!
